C7FW Blips System

This guide explains how to correctly install and configure C7FW Blips on your FiveM server. Follow each step carefully to ensure the script loads and functions as intended.

01. Installing the Resource

Download the latest release of C7 Blips;

This folder should contain the folder: c7-scripts-blips

Extract the .zip file's

Place the folder into your server's resource directory

Your resources folder should look like the following:

resources/
└── [c7-scripts]
    └── c7-scripts-framework-v3
    └── c7-scripts-blips

• You should not change the name of the folders as this will prompt errors.

• You should keep it as what it comes as.

02. Adding to 'server.cfg'

Add the following line to your server.cfg, preferably after your MySQL and connection resources:

ensure oxmysql
ensure c7-scripts-notifications (start first)
ensure c7-scripts-framework-v3 (start second)
ensure c7-scripts-blips

03. Script Configuration

Altering the script to your preferred configuration has been made easy with our configuration file. To get started, you need to open the file: c7-scripts-blips/config/config.lua

Configuring the Basics

To change the basics of this script, you need to change the following configuration lines:

-- If true, when blips are enabled, you will see your own blip on the map/minimap.
-- If false, you will not see your own blip.
Config.viewSelfBlip = false

-- Only show OTHER players' blips on the minimap if you are within this distance.
-- Set to 0 to disable the range limit.
Config.minimapBlipsViewRange = 150 -- Metres (m)

-- How often the server sends blip updates to all players
-- (Lower = smoother blips, higher = less performance usage)
Config.BlipUpdateRate = 2000  -- ms

Configuring the Departments

You must change the following lines:

You must change the following lines:
